Throughout it’s history the capital of Nepal has been growing in uncontrolled manner. As the result lack of the government patronage led to uneven housing development, decreasing of the green open spaces, environmental deterioration and overall diminished livability of the city. The lack of accessible drinking water against the backdrop of a daily growing population worsens the situation. The project Enliven Kathmandu investigates whether the introduction of green infrastructure would rectify the ecological problems of the city.
